The neighborhood mainly consists of citizens from various provinces of the Black Sea Region. Local delicacies bazaar which consist of  such as wrap, kale soup, cornbread, butter, milk, cheese, olives, noodles, sourdough, and organic products such as tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cucumbers and peppers grown in their gardens by the housewives of the residents of Karadeniz Mahallesi, open its doors every Saturday. Organic Women's Hand Market, where it brings together handmade and handcrafted knits, is located in this neighborhood.

Karadeniz Toki Houses, Wholesalers Site, Viticulture Research Institute are also within the borders of this neighborhood.

While the Smokeless Industrial Zone is located in this neighborhood, it was included in the borders of the newly established Istiklal District with the decision of the council numbered 73 on 04.02.2020. The population in 2019 was 4.209.
